Seth

“Hello All!  I’m Seth, and I’m a dental hygienist.  It’s my job to work with each patient in order to shine the light on what goes on in the mouth, and facilitate individuals in every way possible to achieve a smile they can be proud of.  I find, the most important part is simply having a game plan.  We are all eager here at Smile Studios to assist or answer any questions a person may have.  Our hope is to take some, or all, of the anxiety out of dentistry.

Outside of work, I’m spending time with my wife and kids as much as I can. One of our goals as a family is to work hard so we can play hard.  My current passion is fixing/maintaining my own machines.”

The best day of my life was when I married my wife. 15 years into our marriage, and she takes my breath away more than ever.
My hero is anyone who exhibits kindness, and a great work ethic. It’s my conviction that these two virtues could solve many of the world’s issues today.
If I were a flavor of ice cream, I’d be the pistachio ice cream in the movie “Cars”.
Outside the office, my wife and I enjoy going on motorbike rides when the weather’s nice. We frequently find things to do outside with our two boys, rain or shine: Laser tag, going on hikes, throwing the football, etc. Our boys are growing up so fast, so we take every opportunity to spend quality time with them.
Tara - Smile Studios Staff

Tara

“Hi, guys! I graduated from the University of Washington-Seattle in 2021 and now I am a dental assistant at Smile Studios. I love meeting new patients and making new friends every day!

Outside of work I love to go hiking, work out, and play with my little puppy! My goal is to see the world and experience different cultures and I love to receive travel recommendations!”

My favorite color has to be light purple or cyan!
I love to spend my free time with family and friends. I enjoy staying active playing basketball, soccer, and volleyball or exploring PNW hiking trails! I love to travel and would like to see as much of the world as I can to experience different cultures!
I’ve had such a blessed life so I am not sure I can pinpoint just one day. I would say that my parents moving to America 21 years ago and giving me the opportunity to be educated and live in a free nation was the best thing to happen to me.
My heroes are all the women in my family. They are all such hard working and kind women. I aspire to be like each and every one of them.
I would say that I am colorful like a birthday cake ice cream flavor!
Aliyah - Treatment Coordinator

Aliyah

“Hi everyone! My name is Aliyah. I’m so grateful to be apart of the wonderful team here at Smile Studios!

Shortly after graduating at the University of Washington in 2019, I began working in general dentistry as a front office coordinator. I truly enjoy what I do because I get to meet and engage with so many awesome people each day. It is truly rewarding to work in an industry where we get to help our patients everyday and create a great experience for them.

When I’m not at the office, I love being outside. Summer is my favorite season. My ideal day would be any warm and sunny day spent outside by the water.”

I love going on adventures and traveling with my husband. I also love to cook and try new food and recipes. When the weather is nice, I’m always eager to take a long walk outside or spend the day fishing.
It’s hard to choose the best day. But, the one that sticks out the most is the day my husband proposed. Besides my wedding day, I can’t remember a day I’ve felt so happy, full of love, and surprised. It was such a special and emotional day surrounded by our closest friends. It’s a day I will never forget!
My heroes are my parents. They worked extremely hard while I was growing to provide me with the best life they could, through all of their hard work and patience. They taught me so many valuable life lessons and continue to bless and support me everyday.
If I were an ice cream flavor, I would be rocky road because I’m adventurous and love being outside!
Maedeh - Patient Coordinator

Maedeh

“Hi everyone!
My name is Maedeh and I just recently graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Health Studies. I believe that building strong relationships with patients is crucial to providing excellent care, and I am committed to ensuring that every patient who comes through our doors feels valued and heard.”

My favorite color would definitely be beige!
Outside of work, I sell real estate and spend time with my family and friends. I also enjoy going to the gym and taking boxing and HIIT classes!
The best day of my life would be the day I moved to America with my family in 2008. Ever since that day, my life has changed for the better.
My sister is my hero. She is one of the most kindhearted, determined, and hard working people I know. She inspires me everyday.
I’m personally not a fan of ice cream but if I had to choose, I’d definitely say I’d be Matcha ice cream.
Cassie - Hygienist

Cassie

“Hey there! I’m Cassie, a dental hygienist at Smile Studios. Originally from Utah, I also have a mixed background, with one half being Ecuadorian. I had the opportunity to live in Guayaquil, Ecuador, where I became fluent in Spanish. I graduated from Utah Tech University and I’m passionate about providing exceptional dental care and education to my patients. I strongly believe that when people have the knowledge and understanding of oral health, they can make informed decisions that positively impact their overall well-being.

Outside of work, you’ll find me hanging out with my adorable puppy, Ginger, and my husband, Juyong. We love spending our weekends going on walks and watching lots of Netflix.

I take great pride in being a part of this incredible dental practice. We all share a common goal of providing exceptional dental care in a friendly and welcoming environment. I can’t wait to meet you!”

Pink! But not a bright pink… like a pastel baby pink.
When the weather is nice, I like to go on walks with my dog and my husband. Food is always included in the itinerary!
My husband and I started out long distance, and I still remember the day we first met in person and I got to hug him for the first time! It was such a thrilling and happy moment.
I admire anyone who shows patience at a time when it might be difficult.
If I were to compare myself to a flavor of ice cream, I would say vanilla. Not because I’m ordinary or unexciting, but because I believe vanilla has a versatility that allows it to complement and blend well with a variety of flavors.
